This is the first book I have read by this author and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Reading some of the reviews I was not sure I was going to like it at all. In fact, I actually really enjoyed it. Luke Davenport, oh my yumminess, the man is an alpha male running a company and a single dad to his 5 year old daughter. Fate just happens to bring him and Katie or Kay together in a very different type of situation a sex club where they are both first timers and then they both are dreaming of the other not knowing who they were because it was dark. Well, a few days later they unexpectedly run into each other and realize that they were the ones together. Ok now, mind you during all this there are other things going on and you learn much more about all the characters. This book kinda thru me for a loop once everything came out. I was sure I knew who the bad guy was and Ms. Eugene wrote it so perfectly that I didn't see the outcome coming. I found it a little slow in points or rather certain situations were drug out a little longer than I would have liked, but that's my personal opinion. However, that is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars. I will definitely be reading more from this author. A copy was gifted in exchange for an honest review.
